Acceptable Use Policy

Unlimited mailboxes and domains work because almost everyone uses them for normal email. This policy keeps it that way and protects our sending reputation for all customers.

You may not use CherryMail to

• Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or mail to purchased or scraped lists.
• Send phishing, malware, or deceptive messages, or impersonate others.
• Distribute illegal content or content that infringes others' rights.
• Harass, threaten or abuse anyone.
• Create mailboxes in bulk to resell, or to evade limits or bans.
• Use mailboxes as general file storage or backup targets rather than for email.
• Probe, scan or attack our systems or other networks.

Sending limits

To prevent abuse, outgoing mail is rate limited per mailbox and per account. Default limits suit normal business use. Newsletters and marketing campaigns should go through a dedicated bulk-email provider.

Enforcement

We may limit sending, suspend mailboxes or close accounts that violate this policy. For serious or repeated abuse we may act without prior notice. Report abuse to abuse@cherrymail.net.
